Reze is a Partner at Social Capital.
He is responsible for external affairs, including communications and public affairs. Reze also works closely with our portfolio companies, helping them hone their narratives and navigate important stakeholders.
Prior to joining Social Capital, he spent nearly a decade at Sard Verbinnen & Co (now FGS Global), a financial and crisis communications firm. At SVC, Reze advised leading technology companies on hostile and friendly transactions, public listings, leadership changes, global business expansions, and regulatory and political issues.
Reze graduated with a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Political Economy and was recruited for the men’s crew team. Born in California to Malaysian immigrants, he spent much of his childhood between Northern California and Southeast Asia, and has lived and worked in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Malaysia. He currently splits his time between the Bay Area and London.
