Daniela is a Partner at Social Capital where she focuses on early stage and climate tech investing.
Her work centers on the energy transition, the circular economy, ag-tech and biomaterials, and carbon markets. She is a board observer for DroneSeed.
Prior to joining Social Capital, Daniela was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where she focused on climate change, and led the research to craft the firm's 1.5℃ degree pathway scenarios. Previously, she was an instrumental member of two successful early stage startups: 427mt, a startup mapping the economic risks from climate change for financial assets, later acquired by Moody’s, and Shopmium, a French digital couponing platform for smartphones, later acquired by Quotient.
Daniela holds a Masters in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Management from EDHEC Business School. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese, and has lived, studied, and worked in Europe, Asia, and North and Latin America. She is currently based in Mexico City.
